This is only the third time I’ve ever done this. About seven years ago, I got it in 19:57. Today, it took me 20:30, which is about the same as two years ago.

That’s 1,197 seconds out to 1,230 seconds, or a decline of 2.7% from age 42 to 49. I’ll take that.

My butt started to hurt about 3,000 meters in. Grip got pretty fried too. I was wiped by the end.
