This website is a directory of interesting public Google Docs/Sheets.

The CMS angle: it’s an example of people doing front-line publishing with Google Docs. This requires an abandonment of presentational focus – as a CMS, Google Docs is basically a highly opinionated SaaS platform. But if you have to get simple information out quickly, and you don’t mind people seeing how you did it, you can’t argue with the simplicity of it.

Related to this, I wrote a long, navel-gazing post about “Breaking the Fourth Wall of Content.” Does it change the perception of content when we let the content consumer lift the curtain on our publishing methods?

Every day, between 7,000 and 10,000 unique visitors come to this website. I don't keep analytics, so I have no idea why you're here. Maybe get in touch with me and tell me why you visited today?
