Pageboy

Definition: a male attendant or servant; a haircut style

A “pageboy” was traditional a young male attendant. Since then, a “pageboy” haircut is a short cut where the hair curls under towards the face.

Why I Looked It Up

Elliot Page’s memoir was called “Pageboy.” I thought it was just a play on their name (which it clearly is), but then I found this in a mystery novel:

The door… had been answered by a woman with a pageboy haircut.
