Jodhpur

By Deane Barker

This is the name of a city in India, but it’s often used to refer to clothing related to horse riding. The city and region Jodhpur was once famous for its horses.

“Jodhpur breeches” are tight pants which are cuffed at the bottom and used when riding horses. “Jodhpur boots” are riding boots with a buckle.
