15 Military Sit-Ups

I’m nursing a hurt shoulder, so I wanted to do something that didn’t involve my arms.

Not a great workout, I guess. It was just okay.

I’m trying to get to 59 military-style sit-ups, to score a theoretical “Excellent” on the Air Force physical fitness test. To do these, I anchor my feet under two dumbbells, bend my legs, and sit up with my arms crossed over my chest, fingers on the opposite shoulder.

It’s a short movement. Basically a crunch.
