Topher Zimmerman of Magnolia wrote a neat blog post about a potentially recursive CMS .

If a modern CMS has tooling to assemble not just static web pages, but also more dynamic app behaviours… And if this modern CMS is itself a web app that is running more in the browser and less on the server… then can I use the CMS to edit itself?

If a CMS includes a visual app builder, could you use a CMS to create another CMS?
