I stumbled on this announcement:

Tipe raises seed round to build a customizable CMS for developers… Today we’re excited to announce that tipe has raised $2.1m in seed funding led by CRV and joined by investors YC, M Ventures, and Precursor Ventures.

This might be the rarest of things: a new CMS being born from nothing. New CMSs usually come from a developer’s pet project, or an in-house system, but this seems to be new investment money into greenfield CMS development.

Actually, I think it exists in private beta (I have literally never heard of it before). But still – multiple millions for developing something that isn’t even out of beta isn’t something you see every day. I have to wonder what this system is offering above the glut of headless systems currently on the market.
