Contentful raised a massive investment round – $80 million from Sapphire Ventures. This is huge, not only for headless, but for the CMS space in general. It reportedly values Contentful at “approaching” $1 billion, which makes it a CMS unicorn.

Contentful has now raised $158 million, meaning this round doubled their outstanding investment. Congrats to Sascha and crew on their new Scrooge McDuck lifestyle.
