Row Daily, Breathe Deeper, Live Better: A Guide to Moderate Exercise
I don’t know what to make of this book. Someone on the Internet recommended it.
The point is this: you should row on a rowing machine every single day. The entire book seems to be devoted to convincing you to do this.
I row a lot at CrossFit, so I’m not a beginner. Thus, a lot of the book was lost on me (“how to pick a rower” etc.). However, I did appreciate the emphasis on daily moderate exercise. A lot of exercise motivation these days is on hardcore, intense, CrossFit-ish workouts (of which I’m totally guilty of, certainly).
Other parts of the book give you ways to cope with the boredom (long rowing is boring as hell), and cover the basic science of exercise (…this part seems wildly obvious).
I didn’t get anything out of it. I clearly was the wrong audience for this, so I’m not going to rate it.
