Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones
This might be the perfect self-help book, because it doesn’t really introduce anything new. I mean, think about it, when it comes to habit formation, is there anything new to know? I think behavioral science has got a pretty good handle on why we make and break habits.
But, what this book does is explain it as clearly as possible, and make it entertaining enough that you want to absorb it. With a subject like this, where there really isn’t anything new to say, the trick is in the delivery, and this book does it very well.
It reminds me of “The Power of Habit” in that is says basically the exact same thing. It just says it...better. It’s more motivation, and seemed more clear.
Good book. I’m going to go back over the chapter summaries (very handy, BTW) to review what I read.
