The New Automation Mindset: The Leadership Blueprint for the Era of AI-For-All

TLDR: “A promotional title, meant to inspire; pretty basic”

Book review by Deane Barker tags: business, tech

I picked this up from an automation vendor at a MarTech conference (I’m a sucker for free hardcovers).

It’s not a bad title, but it’s clearly designed to get people excited about the possibilities of automation and what they could do with it (and, presumably, to sell software).

There’s not a lot to say here – the book presents all sorts of ideas and “recipes” for how to automate things around your business. I keep wondering who this would benefit. Anyone in IT already knows this stuff. Maybe it would be the C-suite – I can’t imagine a CEO taking the time to read this; maybe a CIO, but, again, I feel like they should understand this already.

Not sure what to do with this. Not a bad title, but I didn’t get much out of it.
