This is an “Asian style” suit jacket. It’s longer than a traditional jacket, and has a collar that stands up around the neckline. The buttons might be hidden.

It was named for Jawaharlal Nehru, an Indian politician and social activist, who made the style popular.

Why I Looked It Up

It was mentioned multiple times in Superspy Science. Apparently James Bond villains wear the style quite often.

The author referred to it as a “Nehru suit,” though I can’t find reference to any specific style of the pants.
