Definition: the philosophy or practice according to which decisions of an organized group should be made by a numerical majority of its members

The definition above is actually for “majoritarianism,” which appears to be the simple belief in using a majority to decide things. A “majoritarian view” would – I think – be a view that someone believes is held by the majority.

Why I Looked It Up

The book The Conservative Heart held that conservative political views were “majoritarian,” and conservatives should begin to state that openly.
