Definition: an assortment of things

In various definitions, I saw the words: “hodgepodge,” “mish-mash,” “haphazard,” “non-sensical,” etc.

It comes from a Latin word for a mixed grain that was fed to cattle. Any grain that didn’t measure up to human standards, became a “farrago” for cattle.
