Andalusia

This is a province on the southern tip of Spain. The cities of Seville and Cordoba are located here.

The region has a strong Muslim history, and is the location of The Great Mosque/Cathedral of Córdoba.

Why I Looked It Up

When researching word lists for a class on search engine mechanics, I ran into an word list for Andalusia. I had never heard of it before.

Then, when reading The Alchemist, the main character is from Andalusia, and travels south to Morocco.
