There’s very little detail in this article about parking at a Dallas stadium, but the last line is pretty clear:

Unfortunately, much of the revenue potential may come from cutting the jobs of parking attendants.
This matches my experience at Sioux Falls airport. Where you used to have every lane manned by a human, now every lane is a machine, except for a lone human overseer that intervenes only when there’s a problem with the machines.
