Today is my last day at Valtech. I was only here for six months, so I want to stress a couple of things –

First, this is an entirely mutual decision, and that’s not a euphemism or code for anything else. Allison Abraham and I had some big dreams for my role, and after some very honest discussions, we both came to the decision that we just weren’t going to be able to accomplish what we set out to do.

Second, Valtech treated me very well. Compensation, benefits, onboarding, etc. – it was all wonderful. Valtech is a great company filled with genuinely lovely people doing fantastic work. Even after we decided the role wasn’t going to work, I’m happy to leave amicably and on good terms.

I start a new position with a new company on Monday. More on that later.
