Fewer employees use intranets to support work: A magazine out of Ireland points out what many of us already know, though the numbers hint at the magnitude of the problem.

Some 50pc of company employees don’t use their company’s intranet to support their work and many think their intranet is ineffective and not useful for day-to-day work.

According to a report by the Irish Computer Society, 80pc of company employees with intranets had problems with intranet search and navigation and felt these needed improvement, while 35pc find it difficult to get access to the right information.
