I read a fantastic book last month for deep text geeks: Structured Writing: Rhetoric and Process by Mark Baker. It’s a deep dive on embedding structure in text, including XML, Markdown, and lots of esoteric languages I didn’t know existed.
The book is dense. It prompted me to tweet:
There are times when I think I know a lot about content and CMS. And then I read a book like “Structured Writing: Rhetoric and Process” […] and I realize that I know nothing.
Highly recommended.
