Client-side Development and CMS

From Issue #3

Some recent web development trends have CMS implications, most exemplified by the tagline of the New Dynamic (their capitalization), which promotes static site generation.

The Static Web: Static Site Generators and the Post-CMS paradigm.

By “The Post-CMS paradigm,” it’s clear they specifically mean the coupled CMS paradigm.

Also a term that people are trying to make happen: JAMStack which represents “JavaScript, APIs, and Markup.” Are CMSs that service single-page applications (SPA, yet another new-ish acronym) the new black? And I was just introduced to Sitecore JavaScript Services, which are JS libraries that wire up React or Angular objects directly to Sitecore content. It’s new yet, but it’s a huge hat tip to the overall trend.
