Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything

Book review by Deane Barker tags: wikis, collaboration

I actually quit this book part way through, which I’m loathe to do, but the simple fact is that I was reading it seven years too late.

It was written in 2006. Things that were revolutionary then just aren’t anymore. This is made even more apparent by a breathless, hyperbolic writing style that made me roll my eyes a little.

Seven years ago, this book might have been mind-blowing. Not so much anymore.
