A very short book that basically boils down to having some period of God-centered quiet time.
Giving it a higher rating because I appreciated that it was short – it had a simple, concise point, and it was just long enough to handle that. Someone else might have tried to pad this out to trade length, and I’m really into appropriately short books.
Formatting was poor.

I decided to go through the Followers Made group discussion again, four years down the road. It was this group for which the book was assigned reading.
So, I read it again, and I enjoyed it more this time, because I got a more subtle point to it –
The primary purpose of time with God isn’t to talk to God, rather it’s to listen so that God can talk to you. The book advocates for setting aside some time, opening a conversation with God, and then shutting up. You can’t listen if all you do is talk.
I’ve been working on this, to the point of setting a timer on my phone for 10 minutes, and just sitting quietly. I can’t say it’s been revolutionary yet, but I do look forward to it.
