About the Author

Note: this section made more sense in the printed version of the book. Since this entire website is technically “about the author,” it’s a little superfluous here.

Deane Barker has been working in content management for 25 years. His first book, “Web Content Management: Systems, Features, and Best Practices,” was published by O’Reilly Media in 2016.

When this book began, Deane was a co-founder and consulting analyst at Blend Interactive, a content management consultancy. During the writing of this book, Deane became the Senior Director of Content Management Strategy for Episerver.

He remains a founding partner of Blend Interactive.

Deane lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with his wife Annie.
