Search

The processes and functionality around retrieving content in response to a user query.

Search can be parametric, which means searching for content based on specific, defined parameters, which usually map to attribute values (example: articles where the Date Published is before January 1, 2015).

Other searches might be so-called full-text, where the user is searching for specific text tokens, and the results are based on indexed and optimized versions of the subject text.
